•THE LETTER Z•
The Letter Z was not part of the original Pinoy alphabet. For some of the foreign words beginning with Z that became part of our language, the Letter S was substituted.
For instance, zero became sero [pronounced seh-roh] and zipper became siper [see-per]. But now it seems it’s back to the way it was.
